Ellis Ivory (my former Mission President) and Brent (former Missionary and mentor) tell the story of holding an all-mission conference in 1979 in a historic 12th Century Church of England church. Brent and his dear wife Mona went back in 2017 and returned the favor by participating in a fundraiser to save the bell tower. President Mark and Sister Laura Ulrich (current Mission Presidents) also discuss going to Hawkshead in 2017 to present a $20,000 check and their experience—which included speaking, handing out the Book of Mormon and receiving a historic bible as a gift from the Vicar.
